Snohomish County deputies spotted Sandra Bennatts' car on Highway 2 over Stevens Pass. There was a chase and deputies lost the car, but after a search of the area, the boy and his mother were found.
An Amber Alert was issued for a 6-year-old boy abducted by his non-custodial mother from Auburn, Washington. 34-year-old Sandra Bennatts forced her way into her mother's home, assaulted her, tied her up and fled with the boy. She may have also taken a gun. The boy, who's autistic, is described as Caucasian with blond hair and blue eyes. He's 3-feet tall and weighs 50 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt with bright letters and jeans. They may be heading south to Mexico in a grey 2009 Acura RDX with a Washington license plate of 787-YZO.
